So today I travelled from KL to Malacca. Malacca is a city on the coast in the south of Malaysia. It is a historic city that has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2008. It has previously been colonised by the Portuguese between 1511-1641, the Dutch between 1641-1824 and finally the British between 1824-1948. After the dissolution of the crown colony Malacca became a part of the Malaysian union.
We spent the afternoon mooching around the beautiful time. Because of the mix of culture, religion and also the previous colonial eras the architecture is stunning and varied.
we also took full advantage of the amazing food in the area trying a lot of street food, alcoholic ice lollies, watermelon and a really awesome Indian dinner.
