Today was a beach day and it was amazing! We went to a secluded little beach called ‘Skull beach’. It was completely untouched with very few tourists. We sat on the beach, read books, listened to music and of course went swimming.
After this we walked to a local waterfall. This is supposed to be the tallest waterfall in Langkawi. However after reaching the falls after about a 40 minute walk we realised that it is dry season and this is the result...
After the dry waterfall we tried to head back to the hostel however there were no taxis willing to pick us up. Instead we hitched a ride with a really nice mother and daughter who were on their holidays. They wanted to head to a beach called Black Sand beach before going home. We were so grateful for their help so if course we were more than happy to stop. The result was stunning!
From here we managed to get a taxi back to our hostel!
