So today was another early start to watch the sunrise. We climbed the 907 steps to get to the top of the hill. This was tough. I was so exhausted Up there the view over Pushkar was incredible. Again I can’t believe how lucky I am to be able to watch the sunrise over this beautiful country.
We watched the monkeys play and jump.
In the afternoon we headed to the local markets.
The evenings main even was the camel extravaganza. It was held in the Thar desert which is the most densely populated desert. We rode on camel back which was an absolute life
highlight. My assigned camel was 15 years old. Apparently when looked after well camels can live until about 25 years old.
Upon arrival at the spot we had a magician performance where he made coins appear down my shirt. I promise his hands weren’t anywhere near me! This was followed by traditional dancing and a fire breathing performance.
We ended the night dancing to TLC scrubs. Could we be more cultured?
